Teaching in each academic year is organised into two (2) semesters, winter and spring, each comprising at least thirteen (13) weeks of teaching and three (3) weeks of examinations. Courses of the winter and spring semesters are re-examined in the September examination period.

Attendance at courses, practical training and seminars is compulsory.

If a class cannot take place, it is rescheduled. The date and time of the make-up class are posted on the Programme's website.

If a student's absences exceed 20% of the total classes of the current semester, the student may be removed from the Programme. The matter is examined by the Coordinating Committee, which gives its opinion to the School Assembly.

Postgraduate students are assessed on the courses they are required to attend in the Programme at the end of each semester, by written examination or by assignments throughout the semester. The method of assessment is set by the instructor of each course. Grading is on a scale of 1-10. Course grades are submitted to the Programme Secretariat within 20 days of the end of the examination period.

To obtain the Master's degree, each postgraduate student must attend and successfully pass all the courses offered by the Programme and complete a Master's thesis, thus accumulating one hundred and twenty (120) ECTS credits.

If a postgraduate student fails the examination of one or more courses, such that, under the Postgraduate Studies Regulation, they are considered not to have successfully completed the programme, they are examined, upon application, by a three-member committee of faculty members of the School whose field is the same as or related to the course examined, appointed by the School Assembly. The instructor responsible for the original examination is excluded from the committee.
