Postgraduate students may apply for a suspension of studies, stating their reasons.

Semesters of suspension are not counted towards the maximum normal duration of studies.

1. In exceptional cases, a suspension of studies may be granted to a postgraduate student upon application, approval by the Coordinating Committee and decision of the School Assembly. In the application, the student must state the reasons and the period of the requested suspension and attach the relevant supporting documents.
2. Suspension is granted for one (1) academic year (two academic semesters), starting from the beginning of the academic semester for which the application is submitted.
3. At the end of the suspension period, the student attends the courses of the semester in which they would have been enrolled had the suspension not been granted. The period of study is extended by the number of academic semesters for which the suspension lasted.
